Finding Harry Stories, Question

By Melissa Anelli on October 29, 2008 6:13 PM | Permalink | Comments (13)

Wow: This is just a quick note to say that I'm amazed at how many of you shared your stories below. That's great; I'm working on a Vault entry now but please keep adding to that thread. The next post after the Vault entry will the one where I start going through your responses.

I'm still having the spam problem, so your comments take a few minutes to show up live. Don't worry about re-inserting them in the meanwhile, I've got them in this administration system somewhere.

And here's another question for you: Would you guys like a forum? (I ask because there might be one on the site for a foreign edition, and it made me wonder.)

Is Harry, A history.. sold in India?? If yes - please let us know. In India we have access to the 7 books..

However it was impossible to find Quidditch thru ages or fantastic beasts and where to find them..

There are millions of indians who love Harry.. ensure it's available here aswell.

Landmark is famous bookshop out here..even they dont have these books.

I'd would like to know where I could ask you a question about your book without spoiling others. An email just seems too invasive in your already hectic life. I'm thinking of a place that you could browse at your leisure to field random questions.

I searched the forums over at Leaky and didn't find any threads, nor could I see a way in Facebook to direct my question. If anyone could give me a token for the clue bus, it'd be greatly appreciated!

I'M SO EXCITED about this book!! I can't wait to read it and reading this site has gotten me even more excited!!

A forum would be Excellent!

I'm so excited - just had a mail saying the book has been despatched - I'm in the UK, so it wasn't due out until 19.11.08, but I should have it by mid to late next week! I can't wait to read it!

I definitely think there should be a forum. I'm about 100 pages away from finishing it, and I'll post my full feelings when I'm done, but all I have to say that it is nothing short of *delicious*.

Melissa,
Wow! Just Wow! It is a little pat 11 pm, your book arrived today, via ups, a little past 7 pm.

With finnishing up the grandson's Harry potter costume and the grand-daughter's dead bride, (don't ask), costume I could only glance longingly at the book and sneak a peek, before they headed to bed at 8:30.

I just finished the chapter banned and burned and I had to come up for air.

This is so close to the way JKR always pulls me in. You young lady are a wonderful writer.

Thank You for shareing your life with us. May God bless and keep you and may this be but the first of many more.

Sincerly, Beth Trevor (aka Grandma Beth)

I just love making comments on articles posted. I am way too shy for Forums ;) But I wonder if there will be enough people to talk to on forums here anyway, because I am sure most readers here converse in the Leaky Lounge? Or am I being too narrow minded? This is a blog though, isnt it? A forum within a blog sounds strange!

I would love to have a forum!

I second the motion for this site to have its own spinning book - I just found the spinning book on Leaky as well! Hahahaha Yep couldn't stop playing around with it for a while there :)

Yes I would love a forum Melissa, oh and I am now super excited as my own copy has now been shipped from Amazon... I will definately be getting it ahead of the Australian release date now *yipppeee*

Yes! I'd love a forum. It'd be a great place to talk about our own Harry experiences with one another and the book once we've read it (my delivery date got pushed to Halloween :( )

"Would you guys like a forum?" she says. Because fans never want to be able to easily communicate with others about topics that interest them all greatly. Yes, I think a forum would be nice; seriously, they are great for fan interaction.

By the way, the "Remember personal info?" isn't remembering personal info, and yes cookies are enabled. Oh, and I just finished HaH yesterday ~3:20pm. A week before publication. *weirded out*

a forum is too exceded. please, it's just a book, a non official book. it's enough (and good luck, anyways).

there will be new canon in the next vault entry? there is canon in your book? i've preordered it, but i waiting! worf!

i want the harry a history website to have its own harry a history spinnning book!!! i just found the one on the-leaky0-cauldron homepage and can't leave it alone

weeeeee! the spinning book is addictave!

siriusly tho, i'd love a forum. comments are too hard to have conversations in
