Photo Friday: Outside Radio City

Since I just saw most of these fine folk in California, today's photo is a LeakyMug memory: John Noe, Ben Schoen, Andrew Sims, Jamie Lawrence, Eric Scull, and two fans outside Radio City Music Hall the day of one of J.K. Rowling's 2006 appearances with Stephen King and John Irving. This is likely August 1; we had a podcast to do on August 2, and so I don't think Ben was in sweatshorts for it.

The other fan is named Sam. I loved the posters and the shirts that Sam and Kathryn made. This photo was taken while Jo was inside speaking to the press on the morning of August 1st. We'd missed her arriving at Radio City Music Hall because we were under the building at Starbucks eating breakfast. Though we waited and waited and failed to get to see Jo leave the building that morning, I did have a lot of fun bonding with other fans in the hot sun.

"Speak friend and enter!"

Good times.. I miss the leaky mugs

Yes, the 1st, because I was in line in front of those two fans.

Yeah it was the 1st, I had to be in Vermont on the 2nd (seeing as I am one of the "two fans")
